How It Works
Injectables & Fillers
Today’s age-defying injectable treatments (i.e. Botox®, Dysport®) work by correcting many of the signs of aging including wrinkle-causing facial muscles and wrinkles. Dermal fillers (i.e. Juvéderm™, Restylane®, Radiesse®, Perlane®, Sculptra®) are innovative cosmetic solutions to help ease the aging process and sustain one’s youth. It can add more volume and provide immediate results at a lower cost than surgery. Some dermal fillers are used in conjunction with other skin rejuvenation treatments to treat hollow cheeks and eyes, receding chins, thin lips, wrinkles, and other aging skin.
The cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, often referred to by its product name BOTOX®, is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck caused by the action of the underlying muscles. BOTOX® blocks the nerve impulses to these muscles, temporarily paralyzing them and giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. BOTOX® is also effective in relieving migraine headaches, excessive sweating and muscle spasms in the neck and eyes. BOTOX® typically lasts from two to six months with an average of around four months
